In Job Management, production orders can be created from projects and assigned to a resource. This produces the following benefits:

Project data for machining can be created in Layout module. Layout consists of two modules: The Project module and the Library module. Customer projects with machining are created from the master data in the Project module.
In the Project module, it is possible to import CAD data in DXF format after creating a new project.
The master data is managed in the library. In addition to Rittal enclosures and accessories, user-defined articles and components can be created and classified in the library.

The “Fast Lane“ allows you to
- Automate sending production orders to your default resources (machine or manual workplace). This is especially beneficial if your organization uses only one resource of each type and does not require individual resource planning per production order.
- Define a template for the creation of production orders. Even if “Fast Lane” is deactivated, production orders can be automatically created with the “Send to production” function. They remain in status “New” and are available for detailed planning in Job Management.
Depending on your engineering source, you have multiple options
- Layout users can use the “Send to production” feature available from the Placing page or the project overview page.
- Pro Panel users can use the “Send to production” feature provided via the Rittal add-on.
- The “Send to production” feature creates a production order for the respective data. If “Fast Lane” is activated, the production order is automatically distributed to the pre-configured default resources (machines or manual workplaces).
